I am still buried in multiple tasks that are distracting me from posting much, but I've wanted to sneak this one in for awhile... It's just a basic shot of Old Faithful, but I like it.
I've been avoiding getting into this year's photos too much because there is a lot of writing involved with the posts I'd like to make. In fact, a lot of those shots may be more focused on longer blog posts than shorter POTD style posts... Eventhough a lot of these posts aren't very short. When I get caught up with my recent video work, and a little more caught up with some of my older photos, I'll be diving into the new stuff more.
As for Old Faithful, I saw something on the television the other day about how an earthquake a few years back slightly changed the "plumbing" of this geyser, and lengthened the time between eruptions by quite a few minutes. They showed a clip of the park's superintendent joking that every superintendent's biggest fear is that Old Faithful will quit erupting on their watch.
