Five Pictures

Running some errands earlier today, I noticed that the mist was hanging off the mountains around the Gorge in a really cool way, so I ran home, grabbed the camera, grabbed the kids, even grabbed the dog and ran for the hills.  Unfortunately, when we got out there, I realized that I'd left the SD card in my laptop and I only had five pictures available on the camera's internal memory.

We decided to head up Larch Mountain to look for snow. Found it. 4061 feet, almost July, and the main trail to the point was buried (the path over the summit was clear, though). Cloudy day, so we were up in the clouds. I should have taken a picture out at the point, nothing but a mountain top buried in the mist, no views today, but it looked pretty cool out there nevertheless. Unfortunately, I had already taken my five pictures and didn't want to erase any of them, for better or worse.

These are the five that made it home.
