So, it is July 1, leaving LESS THAN 10 DAYS LEFT OPEN IN THE COMMENTS PERIOD OF THE REVIEW PROCESS:

To comment on the monument review process (due July 10, 2017):

My goal with this project has to been provide information on the monuments and the issues surrounding them, for each monument, and as of this morning, I've posted on 15 of the 27 monuments.  A whopping 55%.  I am failing this test!  Plus, there is not as much value if I end up throwing up multiple posts in the last day or so of the comments period, so I need to get a move on things...

As I wrote yesterday, Brent Rose's #27Monuments project has been a Godsend, providing me with at least a little bit of material on some of these monuments, but I am torn between just throwing up his video and a few links, and moving on, or digging deeper like I did with Craters of the Moon yesterday (and there may be another post on that monument coming out later today)...

Today, in order to at least hit a passing grade on these posts, so to speak, I will be going thin on the posts with Rose's videos.  Enough naval gazing from me, let's dive in:

On a positive note, this monument appears to be surviving.  Interior Secretary Zinke has stated that he will be recommending no changes to this monument.  I will be posting more on that later, in a second post.
