This poor critter was spotted several times for a few months hiding in or near some bushes along Powell Blvd down the road from us near the old QFC / future Wal-Mart. I haven’t seen it since they started construction on the long vacant building, though. Obviously this is a non-native species, though it is impossible to tell if the little guy somehow escaped from its owners or was abandoned.
Someone, perhaps one of the guards posted at the building, was feeding him, but I still felt sorry for the poor thing.
