Springwater Corridor. Gresham, Oregon. January 19, 2012.
The day after a decently little snowfall which was followed up by two inches of rain. The water was back down within 24 hours. The creek channel has, for so many years, been deepened and redesigned for flood control that there was little damage in our area.
Water this high in the more natural creek beds where I grew up? The flooding would have been much worse.
